Village Park

Village park is one of Belleville’s newer, yet seemingly lessor known of the city parks.  That is because unlike Victory Park, which is located at the main five point intersection of town, surrounded by busy streets, the majority of Village Park is tucked away behind homes and businesses.  The only portions visible from the main road is the parking lot, play structure, and restrooms.  The park is located adjacent to Victory Commons subdivision off Savage Road and was developed at the time of the neighborhood’s original build in the late 1990’s.  It offers approximately 8 acres of space including ponds, walking trails, playground, restrooms, benches, volleyball courts, basketball courts and more scattered among grassy rolling hills and trees.

The original wood play structures that once detoured some guest (admittedly like ourselves) due to slivers, bees and more was replaced with new modern equipment in the summer of 2015.
