I Am Your Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR)

I am pleased to announce that as of November 4, 2016, I have been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation (ABR®) designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council. (REBAC) of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR).

In order to attain this designation, I was required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty.  My elective course was At Home With Diversity.  In addition to this education, I was required to submit documentation verifying adequate professional experience in working with home buyers.

So what does this mean to you, the home buyer?

When undergoing what is most likely the largest and most complex financial transaction you will ever undertake, wouldn’t you prefer to work with one of the most qualified real estate professional you can find?  One who has made extra effort to raise the bar through additional training and experience giving them an edge in understanding a buyer’s perspective and protecting and promoting buyer-client interests?  One who is committed to maintaining a professional edge by staying current in membership and connection within a national network of specialized buyer’s agents to stay current on the latest issues and trends in buyer representation?

As an ABR®, I can help you:

  • Identify your specific needs and wants and help you locate matching properties
  • Connect you with a local lender to determine how much you can afford and what financial/down payment assistance you may qualify for.
  • Accompany you in viewing properties
  • Advise you in putting together an offer with the best likelihood of acceptance
  • Provide referrals to qualified venders (lenders, inspectors, etc)
  • Be your tour guide and teammate throughout the entire buying process

The ABR® designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
