Summer is such a wonderful time of year around our little lakeside town. It’s great to get out and about, enjoy the beautiful weather, views of a sunset over the lake, a nice breeze from the water and mingle with friends. Did you know you can do all that while enjoying some great free music too!?!
Every Thursday evening at 7PM, June through August, the Belleville Area Council for the Arts sponsors Music Lakeside at Horizon Park. High Street is closed at these times between Main Street and Church Street where the stage is set up and visitors line the street and park with chairs. Each week offers a variety of music genres, from blues, jazz, country, folk, Caribbean, zydeco, doo wop, and more. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. You can simply sit back and enjoy the show or join in with those dancing in the street.
